What it means to move to the Alaskan bush
To be clear, the bush often means sparsely populated areas accessible only by planes or boats — it doesn’t always mean you’re moving somewhere with no electricity, no running water, or no connection to society.
You could be moving somewhere as populated as Skagwell (population ~900) or as non-populated as Mud Bay (population ~200). Or, if you truly go off the grid, it could be somewhere 200 miles outside of Cantwell (population ~200) with a population of you and yours.

No matter where you’re moving in the Alaskan bush, we can get you there. In some cases, the move will be door-to-door, from, say, your condo in Houston, TX, to your cabin outside Eek (population ~300). In other cases, it may be from your home in Fairbanks to a homestead hundreds of miles into the heart of the bush.
